Annunciate Faith
Faith is opposed to reason
said the ocean’s intuition.
The salt water will continue
to come whether you have
faith in it or not. And my
faith guides a tender touch to
a heart crying concealed tears,
a heart that cannot be a witness
only felt and heard.
I take my reasons to faith,
her somber pupil-less eyes,
her white angelic tilt,
engraved stone caught in time,
and have trust in
something invisible
by my two focused eyes.
Faith is opposed to
reason, never the raison d'être
of wings unseen.
