Today is my last day at the beach. I am humbled by the ocean air; I am honored to see the sun pop over the horizon. The elements are life changing for me.
The Sun and the Moon Are One
The rising legacy of sun; the falling full moon
orbit in the same magenta dome.
Orange moon rises; red sun sets--
time consumes like smoldering fire.
I bend my head, fill my lungs with ocean air,
and envelop the éclat of each turning death.
